Thomas Hoess is the new Managing Director of GUTEMARKEN. He succeeds Thorsten Hoellger, who as CEO of the parent company, Fortuneglobe GmbH, had previously managed GUTEMARKEN in personal union.
The full-service provider aims to accelerate its growth for e-commerce and marketplace connectivity for fashion and lifestyle brands with the new appointment.
Hoess comes from the Serafin corporate group and private equity company of which he was an operating partner. He has previously held various managing director positions at companies in the luxury yacht, aviation and logistics sectors. A business graduate and former cyclist, Hoess was formerly a strategy consultant in Switzerland and Middle East Africa at Roland Berger. Commenting on his future role, Hoess said: “GUTEMARKEN doubled its turnover in 2020 and was named a growth champion by Deloitte and the Financial Times in previous years. I see great potential in GUTEMARKEN and am pleased to be able to actively shape this now.”
Hoellger added: “The demand for e-commerce expertise in the fashion and lifestyle segment has been growing for years. Given his background in various industries, Thomas has the necessary tools to drive GUTEMARKEN even further ahead.”
